Help my mother before losing her vision Please

Donation protected
Dear Donor,

My name is Youssef Muhammad, a Palestinian citizen actually residing in Belgium, and I have started this campaign a few weeks ago to support my friend and her family currently trapped in Gaza.

The fundraising campaign began on June 28, 2024 after Walaa and her family found themselves in desperate position and my personal situation has made impossible to do all the helping by myself.

AlZumily family is a good family from Gaza:
- Walaa used to be a graphic designer working as a freelancer
- Her father used to be a prestigious professor at a local university teaching ...[Islamic University ]
- Her mother was suffering from problems with her vision, but unfortunately her condition worsened due to the bombing and dropping of bombs, as well as the power outage. She has white water on her eyes, which causes complete loss of vision. The retina of the eye was also greatly damaged due to phosphorus bombs

Following the war, the health condition of her parents deteriorated and Walaa is now finding herself in a desperate situation having to look after old parents during a genocidal war.

The money from the campaign will be used for
- raise the funds for day to day survival
- raise enough funds for an evacuation once the border opens
- provide medicines for my mother

As our situation is URGENT, we would really hope to get some donations to allow for medicines and basic items and hopefully, an evacuation, once the border re-open.

About the organizer:
Youssef Muhammad, a Palestinian citizen residing in Belgium, seeks to stand by the family as he is a close friend of the family. The fundraising campaign began on June 28, 2024. He is the family's only helper, as he does his best to collect the money needed to evacuate Walaa’s family to a safe place from Deir al-Balah/Gaza, which was destroyed by the war. Youssef does hard work to help the family, despite the great difficulties he also faces, specifically that he is of Palestinian origin. He faces difficulties related to the obligatory interview procedures, as well as questions related to the campaign. Based on this, his fear for the family is limited to the mother, as she suffers from many eye problems due to the war, and also the father, who suffers from nerve problems (suffocation of the nerve tract), Walaa , who works day and night for the safety of her mother, father, and brother. They have had to repeatedly flee for their lives from one place to another, given the desperate and simply deteriorating/worsening situation on the ground.

Walaa/her story in brief:
She is originally Palestinian from Gaza and is the daughter of a retired professor from a prestigious university in Gaza. Walaa is a graphic designer, content writer, and business owner. Before the war, she was earning her living from her own work and also through freelancing on the UpWork platform. She lost her job and her laptop for designs. She is the only daughter of the family and the sole breadwinner for her family

Requesting urgent assistance and also an update on the current situation: Lula and her family have been displaced 9 times since October 7 to the present day. We escaped certain death on (10/10/2023) as Walaa lost her cat on that day. Leaving Gaza, specifically the place of our displacement, is something like Impossible (there are no medicines, no clean water, and no healthy food).
The cost of evacuation is rising day after day. A family friend created this window to collect some money, but there is an urgent need for additional funds to speed up the evacuation of the family from the danger zone

note:
I would be sincerely grateful if "good people", "supportive, understanding souls", and "people who can appreciate the extent of the internal devastation facing Lola and her family would obtain the travel documents and other necessary expenses to get us out safely"... exits that are Simply inhumane, and too exhausting to comprehend in and of itself... I hope you can contribute generously to this fundraising campaign for Walaa and her family, despite the unimaginable suffering there in Gaza, a place of killing and extermination.

Walaa is 23 years old, I was working as a freelacer graphic design,I lost my job and on going contacts due to the lack of internet connection and electricity cutting. As a displaced people who lost our home we don't have any parmenant source of power and internet.

Abdullah is 19 years old, I lost my educational future, I supposed to start the first year at university as a doctor.
My dream to live as a normal person goes with wind, Now all what I am thinking about is bringing drinking and cleaning water from a far distance, helping my family to fire the flam to cook on.

My mom is about to lose her vision due the counting cutting of electricity, and she is suffering from a white water in her eyes that affect her sight strongly. She is in need to an urgent surgery abroad as fast as possible.

My father lost all what he was looking to have after 35 years, he lost his work and home at once. Due to the scarcity of nerve-related medications, he needs urgent health care and treatment abroad, and he also suffers from chronic diseases such as high blood pressure and diabetes.

We beleive in your humanity to help all of us to come over our sufferings and start a new life far away from war, fear, death, and losing.

Donate for us, and if you can't you can share our campaign with friends, no matter how simple it is, for us means the world.

tent and sleeping on the roof.

Since the war on Gaza started, she lost almost everything on second March, she lost 30 members of my family (father's family) in one second. One rocket was enough to end the life of her 3 uncles, my only aunts and all their sons, daughter, stepdaughters and grandchildren.
None of them were left alive.

My family is suffering from a lack of food, especially my mother and my father
There was also a lack of healthy drinking water, which caused them severe stomach pain, and both my brothers became infected with hepatitis A. Due to the conditions imposed by the occupation and siege and the lack of resources, it has been difficult for the family to provide the children with basic and simple needs, such as diapers.
It is difficult to provide for Abdullah and me needs, and because of the poor types of diapers available.

We never imagined their lives would be like this. Me and my family had a beautiful, quiet life in Gaza with big dreams ,planning for a brilliant future. We had a steady job and a stable income. We was a house with a roof to shelter them and a warm bed for the Abdullah and me , and all their needs were available, but the war deprived of that.

Asking for your help is the only way they have to rescue My family's life and future, your help may become their hope when hope is far away from us under these conditions, every dollar you can help with may save a life, bring hope to a tired heart and save a future of a youth one.
Please don't read this as a tragedy story, I'm here to ask you to prevent it from getting more tragedy and to help us start our life all over again. I'm here to ask for your help not your sympathy, to ask you to take action whether by donating or by sharing this to everyone you know who can help, please read this with your heart and take action as if it's your family, your mom, your siblings who are under these conditions.

Thank you for your support, for listening to our story, and for helping us through this difficult time.

The amount of evacuation from Gaza per person is $5,000, that is, the total amount for 4 people is $20,000, the amount of my mother's treatment is $10,000 with surgeries for her eyes, my father's treatment is $7,000. We need an amount for living in terms of (house, food and other life) 15,000
