Remembering David Barragan

My family of five need to travel home to Los

Angeles (Glendale) to celebrate the life of my great Father, David Barragan.

My Dad lost his battle with Alzheimer’s and

Dementia the morning of June 15th 2022.

My Dad selflessly served RTA/MTA for over

30 years as a public transportation driver.

I am my Dad’s only child. My Dad and I

became very very close after He also became a Grandfather to my first daughter of three. My Dad is one of the strongest men I know.

My family and I are all very hard working

citizens that have served and I currently serve as a public safety officer for the TSA at Dulles

International. But, set backs throughout this

pandemic, the everyday rising cost in

everything, savings running low; things are

tight.

The cost of: Airfare is currently $998 per person, round trip times 5 = $4,990 from Dulles to LAX.

Unfortunately, most airlines no longer offer

bereavement fares to their passengers. Delta

Airlines discounts from 5 to 25% off.

Hotel expenses are currently $250 per night

for two rooms, for 5 nights = $2,500 in

Glendale, CA.

I am asking for help with these expenses of

$7,990

Any support will be so appreciated… Nothing

is too small.
