Help us get to France and beyond!

Hello! I'm Ali Gautier, the director and producer of the documentary short, "After the Flood," which lifts up the stories of Black East Kentuckians in the wake of historic climate disasters. We were recently invited to attend the Cannes Indie Shorts festival in France, which is extremely exciting but also a very expensive feat to pull off! Additionally we'll be traveling all over the country for screenings and festivals that my modest nonprofit salary and door-dashing unfortunately can't cover. If you're able, please help us out. Your support means the world!

Check out the trailer below, and reach out if you want to get involved in other ways!

The land, as well as the history of residents of color, are eroding away. Our goal is to not only preserve, but to give a platform for impacted residents to tell their stories, and in turn inspire viewers to elicit government action to heal and revitalize the land and community.
