HELP US GIVE ANDY A PROPER FAREWELL

We are sad to announce the passing of Andy Mitchko. He was taken from his loving family and friends on October 28 due to a chronic illness. We had known that Andy was battling a chronic illness that was getting progressively worse- but we were shocked by his untimely passing.

Unfortunately, he was not financially ready to leave this world, so we need your help to give Andy the funeral he deserves. Always one with a quick-witted one-liner and a smile, Andy was a friend to all and would do anything for anyone without question.

He is the son of Leonard Mitchko and the late Peg (Borgna) Mitchko and a proud father to Brittni Andrewsh and A.J. Mitchko (10 years old). Additionally, he leaves behind five grandchildren (Haylee, Brayden, Mia, Olivia, and Kaliana) and brothers and sisters (John, David, Michael, Tuch, Lorri, Shelly, Jennifer, and Jackie) - many nieces and nephews.

Andy attended Mid Valley High School (to this day, he would tell you that Mrs. Mazur was his favorite teacher) and is a veteran of the United States Army. In recent years, he owned Andy Mitchko & Son Plumbing- hoping his son, A.J., would one day take it over. Andy loved his weekly visit to Hatchet Jack’s BBQ and Thursday night dinners from his cousin, Tracy Borgna.

For those of you who would like to pay your final respects in person, the family will post an update as soon as arrangements are finalized.

All funds raised will go directly to funeral costs, and additional funds will be used to provide for his minor child, A.J.
