Help Us Give Asher the Freedom He Deserves

Dear Friends and Family,

We hope this message finds you well. We're reaching out today with a heartfelt request that means the world to us. We're embarking on a journey to provide our son, Asher, with a life-changing gift – a wheelchair-accessible van.

Asher is a creative 12-year-old boy who faces life's challenges with resilience. He has a fantastic wheelchair he can use at home and school, but unfortunately, we lack the means to transport it during evenings and weekends. This limitation means he has to rely on a portable chair, which isn't as comfortable or accommodating.

We believe that Asher deserves the freedom to explore the world just like any other child his age. He loves spending time with his family, exploring parks, going to the movies, and experiencing new adventures. Unfortunately, due to our current circumstances, these family outings are often limited and less enjoyable than they should be.

We are already half way there.

Thanks to the incredible support from a generous organization, we've already received a committment of 50% of the funds needed for a wheelchair-accessible van. But now, we're turning to you, our friends and family, who've always been there for us. Keith and I have around 1500 friends on Facebook, and we've calculated that if each person gave just $10, we'd easily meet our $35,000 goal to make Asher's dream a reality.

A Wheelchair-Accessible Van: This will not only allow Asher to travel comfortably in his own wheelchair but also offer him the independence and accessibility he deserves.

Faster transfers in and out: This is important, especially crucial during winter with rain and snow approaching. It is hard to keep Asher warm, so being able to drive right in and close up the van will protect him.
