Help us save Bucky and give her a home

Hi Everyone,
Could you please take just 2min to read? Hi
As I’m writing this (18th May 2022), wife and I are on holidays in Bali at the moment, returning Sunday 22nd May.
Last week, we were driving through the rice fields by scooter and found this 1-month old puppy dumped in a garbage because she’s a female dog and locals would rather dump her than bring her home and sterilise her.
She was scared, hungry and full of skin diseases. We obviously couldn’t leave her there to die..(who would!?) so we decided to rescue her.
We put her in a bucket (that we bought from a villager) and drove her to the vet. We named her Bucky.
We paid for all her medical treatments and 1-month worth of food and boarding. All her diseases should be gone in 3 weeks time after the treatments. We found a temporarily solution for now, we found a foster mum for her (a lovely Canadian women who lives in Bali).
Now we are trying to find an adoption solution for Bucky.
We would have liked to bring her to Australia and adopt her ourselves but it’s way too expensive for us to be able to afford it. The local rescue organisation told us it would cost between $12-15K AUD. We don’t have this kind of money, and while we could afford 2-3k, we are asking anyone who is willing to donate and sponsor her to give her a new life.
The reason why it’s so expensive is because Australia is the most strict country in the world to import live animals and pets, and because she would be coming from a rabies country (even if she’s already confirmed not to have rabies), the process itself of conducting the tests and working with an immigration agent can be very costly.
We have found a solution for Bucky in Europe. A lovely good-hearted person in Switzerland is willing to adopt her. She has already rescued two Balinese dogs in the past.
We are raising the funds to pay for the next 4-5 months of the boarding, medical bills, transport, adoption and immigration cost of bringing the puppy from Bali to Switzerland. She’ll need to be about 6-7 months old before she can travel after sterilisation.
Please consider donating just $10. If 400-500 people donate just $10, we can super easily get to the amount needed to give her a life and a home.
We love animals, and we would rather give a dog who would be left to die a new life rather than go buy pure breed that everyone else would usually get.
Thank you in advance for your consideration and your donation!! ❤️
