Help Us Give Donald ("Moe") Gomez Erving a Proper Farewell

Hello Everyone, my name is Teresica and I am Donald's sister. Donald (also known as "Moe") was keenly insightful, supportive, protective, and beloved. He was known for his intellect, wit, humor, love of milk, smile, and a hearty belly laugh like no other. That smile and laugh were contagious. When he laughed, it brought joy because it would make you laugh. People gravitated towards Donald because of his warm, welcoming heart, and engaging spirit. His depth and ability to communicate with people in all walks of life on different levels also drew people towards him. Donald loved his family and friends. He enjoyed sending videos, listening to music from various genres, and joking around. He got a kick out of invoking reactions from people by saying and doing the most outlandish things.

My brother had an unwavering appreciation and respect for the English language down to the letters! Growing up, it was not uncommon for him to have a different book in his room, the bathroom, and the living room. He was always reading. Recently, he began reading and studying the Bible. Not only was he an avid reader, Donald was a talented artist, and thought-provoking writer whose poems delved as deep as his soul.

Sadly, Donald unexpectedly passed away on September 12, 2024. I have no doubt he now rests in peace, alongside our Mom. He will be remembered as a blessing to those whose lives he uniquely touched. Brother, you will forever be deeply loved and dearly missed by all of us.

My prayer is that we would unite to raise enough funds to honor Donald with the proper funeral he deserves. Any amount you may find in your heart to donate will be greatly appreciated and used for funeral and repast expenses.
