Help Us Give James Stepp a Hero's Farewell

We are raising money to honor our fallen hero, James Stepp. James is a retired Vet and a retired Jacksonville sheriff officer. In 1989 James was shot in the line of duty. He receive a purple heart from sheriff Jim McMillin in 1990. He served his community as a first responder for the local fire department and as a paramedic. He recently pasted away on November 29,2024. Due to unexpected stroke, James has left behind finances, expenses and bills. He has left the family behind with the burden of carrying the financial responsibility of his burial and services as well. As he expected his life to not end so shortly and fast. James had admiration, dreams, and plans for the future. James was responsible for raising his his three children after his wife has pasted away in 1996 from breast cancer. He now took care of his grandchildren and has been their sole provider. With such a financial struggle we are also dealing the emotional state of losing such a good person who had so much going for their family and loved ones. He dedicated all of his time to helping others. I want to thank every single person who may consider helping our family in honoring our hero with a memorial he deserves. James was a caring person with a huge heart he would help anyone at the drop of a dime. He didn't even have to know you, if he could help in any way, he was surely helping. He loved to travel and explore the United States. He was a proud American who supported his country and community. He has left behind a legacy that deserves to be honored. He has left behind so much love and compassion, Please help us give it back to him with honoring him with a burial next to his beloved wife Alison Stepp.
