Help Us Give Lincoln the Send-Off He Deserves

It is with heavy hearts, that we share the devastating news that Lincoln Button, my cousin Nicky's beloved 5-year-old son, tragically passed away on December 15th, 2024. Our family is grieving this unimaginable loss, and we are reaching out to ask for your support to help cover the funeral costs so we can give Lincoln the beautiful send-off he deserves.

As we navigate this difficult time, we are incredibly moved by the outpouring love and support from not only those who knew and cared for Lincoln but also from the wider community and even people who never had the chance to meet him. Your kindness and generosity in honouring his memory means more to us than words can express.

This fundraiser has been set up by me, Jamie, on behalf of and with full approval from Nicky, Lincoln’s father.

While we deeply appreciate the kindness and compassion being shown, we kindly ask for privacy as the family grieves this loss. We also respectfully ask that there be no speculation about the circumstances. Instead, we encourage everyone to focus their energy on honouring Lincoln’s memory and helping us provide him with a heartfelt farewell.

We have been absolutely blown away by the incredible support and generosity shown, far exceeding our initial target. Any additional funds raised going forward will be shared between Mind Mental Health Charity and Great Ormond Street Charity, two causes that hold special significance to our family. Additionally, surplus funds will help provide financial support to Lincoln’s father, Nicky, who is now navigating the challenges of managing bills, the mortgage, and everyday life on his own. Your kindness and generosity during this heartbreaking time mean the world to us and will make a lasting impact.
