Help Us Give Michael Favila a Proper Farewell

It is with great sorrow, and an aching heart that I have to deliver this regrettable news. We want to give Michael Favila ( Mike or Miguel) the memorial he deserves to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes. As his oldest daughter I have started a funeral fundraiser to help cover the cost of his funeral expenses. We are all devastated by his loss and we were not prepared for this unexpected tragedy. During this difficult time we are reaching out to the community, family, and friends to help cover the expense for the funeral home and cemetery burial. Michael Favila was a devoted father, son, husband, brother, uncle, friend, and member of his church. Anyone who knew him could never doubt the love he had for his family, friends, and God. He is survived by his mother Lourdes Favila; his daughters Jewel Favila, Summer Favila, and Addie Younes; his granddaughter Zaria Melendrez; his wife Maria Favila; his sisters Neri Davila, Grisel Lechuga, and Rosie Favila. He is proceded by his father Silvino Favila and his brother Edgar Favila. We value and cherish all love and support we have been shown and hold in high regard all donations received. We whole heartedly thank you and bless you all.

Con gran tristeza y dolor en el corazón tengo que comunicarles esta lamentable noticia. Queremos darle a Michael Favila (Mike o Miguel) el homenaje que se merece para honrar su memoria y despedirnos por última vez. Como su hija mayor, comencé una recaudación de fondos para el funeral para cubrir el costo de sus gastos funerarios. Todos estamos devastados por su pérdida y no estábamos preparados para esta tragedia inesperada. Durante este momento difícil, nos acercamos a la comunidad, familiares y amigos para ayudar a cubrir los gastos de la funeraria y el entierro en el cementerio. Michael Favila fue un devoto padre, hijo, esposo, hermano, tío, amigo y miembro de su iglesia. Cualquiera que lo conociera nunca podría dudar del amor que tenía por su familia, sus amigos y Dios.
