Help us give my mother the funeral she deserves

On February 25th, 2022, our beautiful mother, wife and friend Altagracia Munet was taken from us due to several health complications she's endured throughout the years. We ask that you share this link to help us raise money so that she is able to have the funeral she deserves.

On November 2nd, 2010, my mother suffered various cardiac arrests, heart attacks, strokes and seizures that left her unable to walk for the remainder of her lifetime. Despite doctors telling us that she wouldn't make it, she managed to fight through and wake up from a 20-day coma, giving us the hope we needed to continue to push through. She survived, and my Father, Pedro Munet, stuck by her side day and night, ensuring he was there to support her throughout her recovery while raising three young kids all alone. He visited her while undergoing rehabilitation and made sure that she received the care she needed for the past 12 years. After the rehabilitation process, my mother returned home and was able to fill the room with joy and happiness despite being in such a condition.

February 18th, 2022, my mother showed signs of confusion and struggled to breathe. Concerned for her well-being, my father dialed 911, and she was rushed to the hospital. Several hours later, my mother was sedated and placed on a ventilator as she began to fight for her life once again. Her body struggled to push through this time as she had diabetes, heart problems, and lung problems interfering with her ability to fight and survive once again. Unfortunately, my mother passed away in front of my father, her sister, and her three kids as we watched her struggle to take her last breath.
