Help us give our rose flower, Chantelle Roza an angelic send off!

Hi everyone

On 9 May 2022, our beautiful Chantelle unfortunately passed away. Her passing was very sudden, and entirely unexpected. The news has been hugely devastating for her family and friends, with us all still trying to come to terms with our loss – often questioning how and why this happened to our lovely Chantelle Roza.

Chantelle has always been a selfless individual, going out of her way to help others and never failing to put a smile on our faces. A rock for me and so many others. She encouraged and motivated us with the word of God, and during her spare time she gave back to the community through volunteering at Body and Soul Charity in Farringdon, London.

On 23 April 2022, Chantelle went to help our grandmother in Zambia, of whom she was very close to. Whilst in Zambia Chantelle fell ill and was admitted to hospital due to low oxygen levels. After being in the hospital for just over a day, her oxygen fell to under 40%. We spent all evening worrying about Chantelle, hoping she would feel better and come back to England. We received a phone call during the early hours of 9 May, bearing the worst news we could ever imagine. Chantelle’s low levels of oxygen had triggered a cardiogenic shock and Chantelle was no longer with us.

The reason I have set up this fundraiser is to help our family give Chantelle a deserving send-off. Before even being able to come to terms with the tragic news, we have had to begin to organise how we would bring her body back to England. In addition, funeral expenses have been difficult to raise.
