Help us give stability to this young man

I'm a teacher who loves her students. I've kept up with one young man for the last eleven years after helping his family one Christmas. He is 27 and has a developmental disability. He was recently evicted and lost most everything. We were already helping him find a new place because the last place was unlivable and cheating him. (The neighboring units were already condemned.) We've received a lot of physical donations to replace his belongings, but now we are trying to make sure he can keep up on his own. This photo is after he received a pillow as a gift recently. You can see how appreciative he was for the simple things we all take for granted.)

We'd like to start an emergency savings account for him that will be kept in our names to help him with rent, food, or bills as he will most likely need a little extra income each month in the future.
