Help Us Give Stella Owanikin a Beautiful Farewell

It is with a heavy heart that we deliver the news of our beloved mother, wife, aunt, grandmother, and friend, Stella Owanikin, or Adeola as known to many, transitioned on August 05, 2024. Stella was a beautiful, nurturing, gentle and caring soul who always gave with a cheerful spirit, generously and selflessly. Although she was confined to disability from a stroke over 30 years ago, her spirit never wavered. Stella loved abundantly, gave with all her heart, provided emotional and joyful support and never allowed her condition to slow her down; she never felt sorry for herself or accepted charity. She was the strongest woman we knew, raising her four children while being incapacitated and cooking, cleaning and providing. She never spoke any ill will towards anyone, harmed or hurt anyone in any way. Truly the purest soul that walked the Earth.

In this extremely difficult time, we are only asking for anything you can do, for us to be able to provide a proper send-off for our dear mother and friend, God's Angel. Stella's legacy will live on through her three sons and grandchildren. The details of the service will be posted once all arrangements are in order to have your opportunity pay respects. Your donations will cover funeral expenses, including the cost of the service, burial, and support for our grieving family.
