Rocking Horse Beach Ranch has welcomed two fragile souls into our herd—two horses rescued from unimaginable neglect. Their journey to recovery has begun, but we can't do it without your support.

Both were seized from a riding school where they were still being worked despite their dire condition. The mare arrived so weak she could barely stand, her body drained from neglect. She had a foal at her side, but was too fragile to care for it. Thankfully, the foal has been safely rehomed with a veterinarian.

The young gelding is terrified of human contact, trembling at even the gentlest touch. Both horses are painfully emaciated, their ribs visible beneath their coats, and their eyes tell stories of hardship and fear.

Yet, despite everything they’ve endured, they show a flicker of hope—a sweetness that hints at the love they’re still capable of giving.

These beautiful horses deserve a safe haven where they can heal, grow stronger, and, one day, join our herd and meet the kind-hearted guests who ride with us along the beach. To make this possible, we need your help to provide:

Nutritious feed and supplements to help them regain their strength.

Ongoing medical care for the mare, who requires specialized treatment and a carefully managed diet.

A warm, secure stable for both as they recover and build their confidence.

Their care costs €600 per month (€300 per horse) just for the essentials—feed and stabling. This doesn’t include the veterinary bills, dentistry, wormers, or other critical care they desperately need.
