HELP US GO TO FRINGE!

Theatre Company Della Luna is going to Edinburgh! This August, the company will be putting up Love’s Concordia Bar, written by Edoardo Tesio and Marjorie Murillo with original music by Olivia Amicangioli, at C Aquila Studio (C Venues) as a part of the world-renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Company Della Luna was founded back in the Fall of 2021 and has since produced 5 original shows, including off-Broadway and internationally in Torino, Italy, to both sold-out audiences and glowing reviews. Our stories talk about human emotions in imaginary worlds. We have developed a new format of theater. The story is told through acting and the world is built through original pop music and dance. We believe that Love’s Concordia Bar has a lot of mainstream potential in the theatre industry. We are aiming to get the attention of producers at Fringe as we believe that with the right funding and resources this show in particular has the potential to emotionally impact a wide audience and be produced at an even larger scale.

For those of you who may not know, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival is widely known to be the world’s largest performing arts festival. It is an international celebration of art and culture, surpassed only by the Olympics and the World Cup in terms of global ticketed events. Popular shows that started at Edinburgh Fringe include Six the Musical, The Play that Goes Wrong, and the TV series Fleabag amongst others. We are truly honored and excited to be presenting Love’s Concordia Bar for a full month long run (July 31st - August 25th)! This opportunity means a lot to us, and hopefully, to you! ♡

Unfortunately, putting up a show at the Fringe, especially in the way we intend to, is no small feat and the expenses it requires are no joke. So, we have created a GoFundMe to help with these costs. We will be using the money garnered from this GoFundMe to help offset the costs of the Edinburgh accommodation for our 10 cast members, coming from several different countries around the world, as well as venue expenses.

What is Love’s Concordia Bar?

Imagine a bar owned by Love itself. Only people who are in Love are allowed entry. A young couple enters the bar. After sultry musical and dance performances, inspired by Burlesque and radio pop, and after meeting many of the guests embodying different types of Love, the lovers realize that falling in Love is the easy part but once someone enters the bar – once someone falls in Love – it is hard to get out of it.
