Help Us Help Caroline Feel Better

This is Caroline. She's around 10 years old (at least 10, according to our vet). She's curious and relatively happy and active. She loves watching for birds, scrounging for forbidden dairy products, and biting my calf in the middle of the night.

She's also been plagued with some fairly serious health problems: a tumor on her lung, hyperthyroidism, and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.

Between medications, vet visits, and tests, the cost of treating these things has begun to add up, and my girlfriend and I need help if we want to maintain Caroline's quality of life.

To be clear: we're not aiming to cure any of her ailments, only manage her symptoms in such a way that the time she has left is comfortable and happy.

Asking for help has never been easy for either of us, but Caroline's comfort and happiness are more important than our pride. Whatever amount you can give, no matter how small, would be appreciated, and I promise to find a way to pay your generosity forward.
