Help Us Help Johnna

Meet Johnna, sister, daughter, friend, and now most recently, a fighter.

Johnna has been diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma- breast cancer

requiring immediate surgery, and she needs our help.

What was going to be a routine doctor's visit to ease her worries about a newly

found lump in her breast turned into a life-changing appointment. On April 11th, Johnna heard the words no 32-year-old would ever imagine hearing- you have

breast cancer. Before the news could even be processed, Johnna met

with a treatment team to develop a plan to remove identifiable cancer and

plan for treatment to prevent further spreading. On May 19th, the

decision was made to perform a double mastectomy on June 7th.

While this news is overwhelming, Johnna has remained very stoic and

optimistic. With the help of her treatment team, family, and friends, we know

she can get through this. But we can’t do it alone. The expense of being out of

work and the shockingly high medical bills make this situation seem impossible, so we are asking for help.
