Help us help Mark Bafia!!

Hello friends, family and all who know Mark Bafia. My name is Lacey Woerpel, Markys favorite cousin. ;-)

Sadly, Mark, at the age of 37, has suffered a stroke while driving home from work on Tuesday March 15, 2022… leading into a car accident in which he crashed into a palm tree.

Currently Marky is admitted in the Intensive Care Unit in Florida. He has been unresponsive and unable to move his left side. He was on a ventilator but that has been removed and he is now breathing on his own. PRAISE GOD! He also is slowly beginning to open his eyes and has slight movement to that left leg. Again, PRAISE GOD!

The overall deficits following this tragedy is still unknown. What we do know is that intense rehabilitation and nursing care will be required. Currently Marky carries no insurance. The financial demand will be substantial and we need to ensure Marky is placed in the best possible facilities to get him the care and the rehab he needs! He will require it all. Physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, 24 hour nursing care.
