Among the major expenses in our existence is transportation, though the automobile has been a milestone in this genre it remains a complicated and expensive utility to maintain. Carol Lavacot was a visionary and together with her friend in 1999 initiated a simple car repair question-and-answer platform called; 2CarPros.com, which was inspired by her husband and son, Bob and Ken. Trained Master Mechanics, Bob and Ken had operated a successful repair shop in uptown Whittier, California since 1985. Together they realized most people were helpless when it came to car repair, either when trying to fix a car themselves, or by depending on the trust of a repair shop or dealership.

Now, fully mature the expansion of the platform is inevitable. Plans to improve the core platform code, educate our youth and expand our expert team are slated to begin later this year. It’s my hope you will join me in my vision to help educate and facilitate anyone that wants to learn or work in the car repair field. With the removal of the industrial arts wing including auto shop classes across the nation young students, our hands-on learners, are left to fend for themselves and sadly many end up homeless and on the street.

I am Ken, Bob and Carol’s son, and now it’s my turn and I need your help.
