GDC - Bubly Smile Stand for Autism Speaks Canada

Autism is something we live within our everyday lives, both Leo and Rebecca have Autism which means that how they understand, learn, communicate, cope, received and express emotions, discover and play are different not just from you and me, but even from each other as ASD has such a wide spectrum, meaning that it can manifest very differently in each person. For example, some are nonspeaking, while others have proficient spoken language. Because of this, there is wide variation in the support needs of people across the autism spectrum. As parents, we have to learn and evolve daily with how to best support them with everyday tasks, and each day can be different what worked yesterday no longer works today. There is limited funding to help with the various types of support such as occupational/behavioural therapy or speech therapy. Want to join me in making a difference?
