Help Us Honor the Life of Asia Edwards

It is with profound sadness that we share the tragic and unexpected loss of our beloved sister, Asia Edwards, who passed away on October 12, 2024.

Asia was a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and close friend to all those who knew her. Born and raised in the Bronx, NY, and Yonkers, NY, Asia affected all she came in contact with through her selflessness and willingness to go above and beyond for anyone she met. When her parents weren't able to raise four brothers and sisters, as our oldest, she stepped up, took custody, and raised them. Her passions were cooking and rapping; oddly, she was good at both.

Asia was known for her calm demeanor, her kindness, and her odd sense of humor. Asia was very unapologetic; she had a way of forming deep, meaningful relationships with friends and family, and we are going to miss her so much.

Asia is survived by her father, three younger brothers, two sisters, four nieces, and two nephews, who she called Auntie's babies. Her passing is unimaginable and devastating to our family and our community.

As we come together to honor Asia's memory, we are seeking support to cover funeral expenses and memorial costs to send her to rest. This unexpected tragedy has placed an immense emotional and financial burden on our family. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly to help us put our sister to rest.
