To help Denyle Pierce’s family during their time of need.

Hello, my name is Dora Burns,

Iam doing this fundraiser for my sister and her husband and young son.

Denyle was murdered 03-08-25 while at work at the family dollar store in Maud Texas by a ex coworker for the store.

As we don’t know many details as of yet we have had a meeting with the district attorney office and they did say that the guy that killed her came in to rob the place even though he did not take any money from the store he panicked and ran out after shooting her and discharged numerous rounds into the air outside of the store in the parking lot. He was arrested within three hours of murdering our sweet and loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend, and aunt…

So as you all know, bills do not stop and burial and funeral services is not cheap. We appreciate all of the love support prayers and donations that our family has received from our friends and local community as well as everyone else that has helped on this go fund me,we really appreciate it more than we could ever put into words… as our family is trying to grieve. We would just ask the community and everyone around to just keep us in your prayers and remember our beloved Denyle

Our beloved Denyle was murdered while she was at work.In Maud Texas at the local family dollar store.

A guy came into the store holding a handgun and demanded that the workers on duty at the family dollar store give him the money from the registers and as Denyle was giving him the money that was in the drawer and trying to do it as fast as she could while startled having a big man with a gun pointing at her,the man decided to shoot and run out the store jump into his vehicle and left the scene.The police came and then looked at the cameras and put clues together and then they went to the man’s home where he lived less then a few minutes from the store that he just shot and killed a innocent woman.He was arrested without incident but he knew what the store’s routine was as he was a former employee at the family dollar store in maud and he was currently working at the family dollar store in NewBoston Texas less the 15-20 minutes away from where he took the life of our families backbone our wife,mother,grandmother,daughter,sister,aunt,friend and coworker she didn’t deserve to have her life cut short for that man to just have the right to take her from us…
