Help Us Honor Eric House's Memory

It absolutely pains me to have to be writing these words or ask for help.

Our family suffered another tragic loss. My little brother Eric House left us on August 14, 2024, which was also his brother’s birthday, David House, who we lost just over two years ago on July 24, 2022. In two years, my mother and father lost two of their sons and I lost both my brothers. The grief we are experiencing is beyond words. We all still haven’t recovered from David’s passing and now we have to grieve the loss of Eric too.

Eric was such a light in people’s lives. His laugh and smile literally lit up a room and were also contagious. Eric had such a kind soul. His heart was huge and he loved everyone he cared about deeply. He loved animals and had quite a few in his life. Eric was also such an amazing uncle. I know the kids are going to miss going for slushies and to the mall and movies with their uncle Eric. As I write these words, my tears won’t stop. I don’t know how any of us are going to live without him, hearing his laugh, seeing his smile or having him there cheering us on.

We love him and miss him so much. We ask that anyone who can donate to help our family with cremation, memorials and travel expenses, please do. If anything, please just send love & positivity to our family. We all need it. We are all broken beyond what we could ever express.
