Beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother

Called to Eternal Rest: August 02, 2024

Dear Friends and Family,

Our heavenly Father has called his daughter Guadalupe Flores home to her eternal resting place on August 2, 2024.

Another petal fallen from this family flower... She is rejoicing in reunion with her children and long lost husband.

As many of you know Lupe outlived 3 out of 6 of her children, most recently Erica Flores on 03/14/2024. With grieving wounds still fresh and new, we now mourn the loss of our sweet Viejita.

My grandmother battled dementia the last 6 years of her life. When I say battled, I mean she fought with all her might daily to remember who she loved, who she was and her vivacious personality. This lady was strength beyond comprehension. As a child I use to be in awe of her physical strength and would think to myself "this lady will outlive us all"... The day has come that she too has proven not all invincible, despite always seeming to surmount all life's hardships. I recall all the stories and life lessons she shared. The wisdom past down from a hard working woman that never gave up. I close my eyes and still see her strong, weathered and callused, yet, proud hard working Mexican hands. Deeply rooted with passion to give her children a better life than her own. A mother of 6. She worked her whole life, both a physically laborious and mentally challenging career. A caregiver by day and night. A job that had no end and no beginning. Although she worked hard all her life, my grandmother had no life insurance, no life savings or estate.

We humbly implore to our community, friends and family to aid in closing the gap of the last financial stretch to cover the remaining cost of funeral expenses. We greatly appreciate your gracious donations. Any amount donated helps to reach our goal of providing my grandmother, Mi Ama an eternal peaceful rest.
