Help Us Honor James Gutierrez's Memory
Donation protected
Hello! We've never done this before, but we have donated to causes that touched our hearts and felt led to give help when needed.
Now, this time, we could use some help if anyone feels led to do the same. We have recently lost James Micheal Gutierrez, a beautiful and much loved son, brother, and father, uncle and friend. James was always a friend to the friendless, a strong, warm hug when you were feeling sad, an ear to listen for hours on end if you needed him to, and would interject humor to help you remember life wasn't so bad. Even though he was feeling like his own life was not so great. His life ended up sadly spiraling and lost it all due to addiction, and couldn't find the will, as much as he tried, to come back from it all. Ultimately his body gave way, finally unable to swallow, and eat all the things he so enjoyed but couldn't. After years of struggling with all of it, God said, "No more.." He is now free from the chains that bound his beautiful, tender soul. We, as a family, are struggling so much in the sadness of him being gone, but at peace because he finally is at peace. We are just trying to reach out to friends and family that have expressed a desire to help, and wanted to share just how to do that and be involved in helping with Jamie's cremation cost and shipping his ashes from where he lies in the bay area of California, including any fees that may be involved with Jamie's memorial service. It's always hard to accept help, but we're trying to remember that it blesses others to be of help. We are thankful and grateful for any help to be able to bring loving closure to honor Jamie and his beautiful soul, and to let him know his life mattered, is of immense value, and he will never be forgotten. Thank you for any way you are willing to help. We love you all, and so thankful for your love you've shown to all of us.
