It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Julio “Tranquilo” Davila — a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and longtime member of the LA Galaxy family. Julio’s sudden departure has left a deep void in our lives, and we are reaching out to ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time.

Julio dedicated many years of his life to LA Galaxy, where he was more than just a colleague—he was a mentor, a friend, and a true pillar in the soccer community. Known lovingly as “Tranquilo” for his calm presence and unwavering spirit, Julio inspired everyone who knew him with his passion for the game and his loyalty to the team.

But above all else, Julio was a family man. He leaves behind his loving wife, children, and grandchildren—each of whom he cherished beyond measure. His love for soccer was only matched by the love he had for his family, and his legacy will live on through the lives he touched both on and off the field.

We are raising funds to help cover the cost of Julio’s funeral and memorial services, so we can honor him in the way he truly deserves. Any amount, no matter how small, will go directly toward giving him a beautiful farewell and supporting his family during this heartbreaking time.
