Justin Esparza was tragically and ruthlessly murdered in his home on Thursday, March 13, 2025. Justin had moved away from the Twin Cities to be closer to his dad and half-brother, hoping to build a connection with the family he had never known growing up.
Our family is now faced with the heartbreaking task of bringing him home, but the costs are far beyond what we can manage alone. We are grappling with this devastating new reality and would be deeply grateful for any help you can offer, no matter how small or large. Every bit of support means the world to us.
Justin found joy in his work while living there. He labored in the potato fields and tended to bees as a beekeeper—work he loved so much that it never felt like a job to him. He took pride in it and often spoke of how much he enjoyed it.
There are still many details our family doesn’t fully understand, and we’re processing the information as it comes. From what we know so far, it seems Justin had no warning of the danger he faced. This gut-wrenching realization haunts us and deepens our grief.
Holly, Tamara, her children, and Thomas are all struggling through this loss and could use your prayers and support during this unimaginable time. Even if you didn’t know Justin, please consider sharing this on your Facebook to help spread the word. We are desperate to see justice served and to bring Justin back home where he belongs.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. God bless you all.
We are awaiting the release of his body following his postmortem investigation, so we don't have a date for his service. We will update ASAP.
