Help Us Honor Lisha Wiggins's Memory: Help Us Cover Funeral Costs
We are reaching out to you with heavy hearts and a humble request. My beloved sister, Lisha Gail Wiggins, has been diagnosed with terminal cancer. As she nears the end of her battle with cancer and we prepare for the inevitable, we are seeking your support to help cover her funeral expenses and honor her memory.
Her Life: Lisha Gail has always been a quiet, gentle soul who cherished her family above all else. To those who knew her, you can agree that she was not much of a talker but once she let you into her circle, you were no longer just a friend—you became family. She attended Southeast Elementary and Central High school and would been a graduate of 1982 (or 1983) but was unfortunately she did not complete high school. She didn’t give up and she later received her GED. Lisha Gail was never a ‘social butterfly’ and her favorite things to do was probably to go shopping at ‘WALMART’ and watch QVC shopping. She found joy in the simplest moments spent together with family. She has one child, an amazing daughter who was her anchor in every way. Despite the immense challenges, her daughter, Shenita, selflessly put her own life on hold to care for her mother.
Her Battle: Because she was not one to get out and about, regular doctor visits were not at the top of her list, so this illness was not detected early. The diagnosis of endometrial cancer came as a gut-wrenching blow to all of us. This type of cancer is very aggressive, and the progression was unreal. We barely had time to process what was happening. Despite of all the pain and emotions she had to deal with, Lisha Gail has shown incredible strength throughout her battle with cancer. She has faced each day with grace and courage, never letting her faith waiver. Up until she was unable to speak anymore, she always said ‘I love you’ before we would leave her bedside.
Our Request: Because she (we) just had no idea of anything like this being something she would face, she never put thought into getting life insurance. This was an eyeopener. Unfortunately, this is the mistake that so many people make. I urge everyone to seriously consider making sure that you have life insurance. As we come to terms with the reality of losing her, we want to do everything possible so that Lisha Gail receives the dignified farewell she deserves. Unfortunately, the financial burden of her upcoming funeral expenses is overwhelming. Final expenses are very expensive, so we really need your support. We are asking for your help to ease this burden and allow us to focus on celebrating her life.
How You Can Help: Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference. Your generosity will help us cover the costs of her funeral and memorial services, allowing us to honor her memory in a way that reflects the love and respect she gave to all of us.
Conclusion: Your support means the world to us during this difficult time. Together, we can give Lisha Gail the beautiful farewell she deserves and keep her memory alive in our hearts.
