Help Us Honor Maleena's Final Wishes

We are close family of Maleena Carroll, who we recently lost to her long battle with cancer. She fought hard, but the cancer ultimately spread, and she was ready to rest.

We unfortunately are having a rough time with her funeral service as her family in Indiana has taken out a life insurance policy and created a fundraiser and is pocketing the money for themselves. Maleena has openly stated she wanted to be buried in Owego, New York with her fiancé’s family, who took care of her in her fight, where he will also be buried. Her family, who have not been in contact with her much, want her body taken to Indiana, which is against what she told us she wanted.

We want nothing more than to respect her wishes but are facing financial issues as her family is taking the money from her life insurance policy and would appreciate any help we can get so Maleena can finally rest after her long battle.
