Help Us Honor Mao Cha's Memory
Donation protected
Our beautiful beloved mom, Mao Cha, recently passed on July 8, 2024. She was only 54 years old. She battled metastatic cancer for the last 2 years of her life. She went through many chemo and radiation sessions. Since the doctor couldn’t find where the origin started, she went through multiple types of chemo treatments just to see if it would work. Chemo was always so strong that she was always so sick afterwards.
In January 2024, her body wouldn’t even react well with the chemo anymore. The doctor pretty much gave up. Day by day, month by month, her cancer just continued to eat her up. She started off not being able to walk much, sit much without her back and hip (where the cancer was too) hurting. It started from there, she became bedridden and then to not being able to eat or drink normally. In the mix of her not being able to do much but being bedridden, she was unfortunate and had a stroke a month ago too.
With the stroke, it had caused her leg side of the face to droop and left side of her body able to do much. She started to choke on her food and drink, which then she started to really refuse to eat or drink. She laid in hospice for 6 days until she passed.
Mom is loved by many especially by her beloved husband Leng Lee, 3 sons and their wives, 2 daughters and their husbands, along with 14 grandchildren. Within these 6 days of mom being in hospice care, they all rotated and spent sleepless nights with their mom.
We are all devastated by mom’s loss and were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give mom the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes.
We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of my mother in law, Mao’s funeral. We need to raise 20k by August 1st, in order to be able to afford the funeral service.
Please consider donating, as any amount will truly help our family during this difficult time.
Thank you
