Help Us Honor Maria Esperanza Rivera's Final Wish

Hello my name is Ashley Ferrer & unfortunately my great grandma Maria Esperanza Rivera has passed away today August 22, 2024 around 3am at 94 years old. She was a loving soul who always put her children, grandchildren & great grandchildren first. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, wife & daughter. My great grandma was diagnosed with dementia back in 2018 & it continued to get worse. Three months ago my great grandma stopped eating & kept getting sick. We are trying to send her body back home to El Salvador where she will be buried with my great grandpa who passed in 1999. Our goal as a family is to do what my great grandma has always told us to do when she passes & we would really like to make that possible. Hola mi nombre es Ashley Ferrer y lamentablemente mi bisabuela María Esperanza Rivera falleció hoy 22 de agosto de 2024 alrededor de las 3 am a los 94 años. Ella era un alma amorosa que siempre puso a sus hijos, nietos y bisnietos en primer lugar. Ella era una amorosa madre, hermana, abuela, esposa e hija. A mi bisabuela le diagnosticaron demencia en 2018 y siguió empeorando. Hace tres meses mi bisabuela dejó de comer y seguía enfermándose. Estamos tratando de enviar su cuerpo de regreso a El Salvador, donde será enterrada con mi bisabuelo, quien falleció en 1999. Nuestro objetivo como familia es hacer lo que mi bisabuela siempre nos ha dicho que hagamos cuando ella fallezca y lo haríamos. Realmente me gustaría hacerlo posible.
