Help Us Honor Mark Newman's Memory

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

It is with unexpected and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Mark Newman. On July 10, 2024 Mark was the victim of malicious gun violence while in Jamaica. As shocking as this is to come to terms with the grief of losing him so quickly, we are also dealing with the unexpected cost of his transport home and burial. Mark was a cherished husband, father, son, and brother who brought so much love and light into our lives. Mark will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

As we come to terms with Mark’s passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging his final farewell. We want to give Mark the dignified and heartfelt send-off he deserves, but unfortunately, the financial burden of funeral expenses and transport of his vessel is overwhelming for our family during this already challenging time.

We are reaching out to the community for support in honoring Mark’s memory. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving and remembering Mark fondly.

Funds raised will go towards transportation, funeral service, burial or cremation costs, and memorial arrangements. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in ensuring that Mark is laid to rest with the dignity and respect he deserves.
