Dear Friends and Community,

I am heartbroken to share that our beloved Mijal Conejero-Romera was tragically taken from us on August 28th in a senseless act of violence. At just 22 years old, Mijal had her whole life ahead of her, filled with dreams, aspirations, and the love of her family and friends.

In this incredibly difficult time, Mijal's family is not only mourning the profound loss of their daughter but also facing the unexpected financial burden of funeral and burial expenses. To support them during this trying period, we are organizing a fundraising campaign to help alleviate some of these costs and allow them to focus on healing and remembrance.
