Help Us Honor Miranda’s Memory
It’s with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we share the passing of my first cousin, our beloved Miranda Hamama (age 27), who fought a courageous battle against ovarian cancer. After overcoming the odds and beating this relentless illness, Miranda’s strength, resilience, and spirit gave us all hope. She inspired everyone around her with her bravery, her laughter and sarcasm, and her deep compassion for others. But just as we thought we could look toward a future with her by our side, her cancer returned aggressively and her body finally succumbed to the lasting effects of her illness yesterday.
Miranda was a spark to everyone who knew her—a devoted and loyal daughter, a sister, a cousin, a friend, and a sweet soul who faced every challenge with endurance. Her family, while incredibly proud of her and the legacy she leaves, would never ask for financial help, which is why we’re reaching out on their behalf. We want to ensure that Miranda receives the beautiful farewell she deserves, but her long fight with cancer has taken a heavy toll emotionally, physically, and financially.
In honoring Miranda’s life, we hope to raise funds to cover funeral expenses and help her family during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a difference and provide a bit of relief for her loved ones as they cope with this tremendous loss.
Please consider helping us celebrate Miranda’s memory in a way that reflects the beauty and love she brought into the world. If you’re unable to contribute financially, sharing this fundraiser with others would mean so much. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for standing with us during this difficult time. Together, we can lift some of the weight from the Hamama’s shoulders and give Miranda the peaceful, dignified farewell she deserves.
Thank you for your generosity and being part of this journey with us.
