Help us Honor our beloved Petey Batiste-Casiano

Our beloved Pedro Daniel “Petey” Batiste-Casiano passed away on Saturaday, July 29, 2023. Petey was a wonderful son, brother, uncle, and friend who touched the lives of those around him. He leaves behind his parents: Maurice Batiste & Refugia Casiano, sister Josephine (Quincy) Reese, nephews Quincy IV, Bartholomew, & Kashton, and niece Peighton.

Petey dedicated his life and shared his passion in art, food, and family. His sketches are an abstract of his perspective in life and he dreamed of becoming a tattoo artist. While listening to his favorite opera music, he enjoyed cooking and preparing fine cuisine. Finally, his love for his nephews and niece was spent simply being a goofball and making moments count. Petey was our gift from God and he will always be remembered as our “Polar Bear” with a heart of Gold.

We are all devastated by Petey’s sudden loss and, regrettably, were not prepared for the high cost of a funeral service. We want to give Petey the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory and say our last goodbyes.

We are currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of Petey’s funeral. We need to raise $10,000 to be able to afford the funeral service.
