Help Us Honor Our Grandpa

Hey everyone,

We’re Madeline and Celine, the granddaughters of our grandpa, Jose Prestado, who recently passed away. It’s hard for us to find the right words during this difficult time, but we wanted to reach out and share what our family is going through. Losing him has left a big void, and it’s heartbreaking to see our mom struggling with this loss.

While we didn’t get to spend much time with our grandpa growing up, we’ve heard countless stories about his kindness and the positive impact he had on everyone around him. We’ve seen him on calls, and even from a distance, we could feel the warmth of his spirit. It’s sad that we never had the chance to meet him in person as adults. Being so far away, especially since our mom lives in the Philippines, makes this even harder. We’ve always wished we could visit and create memories with them.

Right now, our mom is facing the financial burden of funeral expenses, which adds to her grief. We wish we could be there to support her in person, but we’re limited in what we can do from here. That’s why we decided to create this GoFundMe. We hope to raise some funds to help cover the costs and give our grandpa the farewell he truly deserves.
