Help Us Honor Our Mother with a Proper Farewell

Dear Friends and Family,

It is with the heaviest of hearts that I share the heartbreaking news of our mother’s Maria Zarate passing this morning. After a long and difficult battle with cirrhosis of the liver, she is now at peace. Just three years ago, we lost our father Hector Rivera, and now, at ages Giovanna 22 and Marianna 16, my sister and I are faced with the unimaginable reality of having lost both of our parents.

Our mother was a remarkable woman, and we want to honor her life with the proper funeral and burial that she deserves. Unfortunately, with no financial support or resources left behind, we find ourselves in a difficult position to cover the costs. We are reaching out to you, our community of friends, family, and loved ones, for help during this challenging time.

Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us and help us give our mother the farewell she deserves. If you’re unable to contribute financially, we completely understand.
