Help Us Honor Patricia Light's Life

Donation protected
Hello everyone,
Hannah Light here! Thank you so much for all the love and support you and my family have shown me during this difficult time. It goes to show how far and strong my mother, Patricia Anne Light's radiant and loving personality touched the hearts of so many people—she is so well-loved. As some may be aware, Trish was battling an extremely difficult case of pancreatic cancer for about a year, and unfortunately passed away due to cancer on 9/14/2024—about 3 weeks ago from this post at only 44 years old. Leaving me, my dad, and my 3 younger siblings in a whirlwind of emotions, and we need help navigating this uncertainty.

I write this GoFundMe to ask a huge but necessary favor—which is for donations to help pay for her services—a funeral and a celebration of life planned for October 26th. It is essential to me and many others to honor Trish in the greatest way we can, and me and my family desperately need your help to make this dream a reality. If you are unable to donate financially, sharing this post helps by leaps and bounds! Thank you all so much for your continued support.

As a general synopsis of my beautiful mom's life and personality for anyone who hadn't the pleasure of meeting her:

Patricia loved everyone she met fiercely. She touched the lives of many with her warm smile, good vibes, hilarious personality, and more than anything, her kindness. She was an animal lover; I grew up with fur babies in our house at all times. She was extremely intelligent—earning a doctorate in psychology. She always wanted to help people, even when she herself was struggling most. She and her husband, Derick Light, had four beautiful children together: Me—Hannah Light, 19, Emma Light, 15, Bryson Light, 8, and Lily Light, 4. Her children were her everything, the "lights of her life." Though she passed away at a young age, she accomplished much and touched the hearts of many, and will never be forgotten. She deserves an amazing memorial service.

Life will never be the same without her; the world suffered the loss of a great beacon of light and love the day my mother passed. It means everything to me to honor her in the greatest way I can. So please, donate if you can and share this post so we can reach as many people as possible.

Thank you all, and much love to you, and remember:

"Every little thing is gonna be alright"
