Help Us Honor Peggysue's Memory

Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Peggysue(Margaret) Forbes (Dercole) . Those of you close to us know she has been gone for quite some time after her sudden incident in June of 2016 and she has spent the last 8 1/2 years being cared for at the Wallingford nursing facility . While her mind was no longer present with us , her body and spirit was all of this time. Her passing was like losing her all over again and has been devastating for all of us. She was a cherished mother , sister, aunt, and friend who brought so much love and light into everyone’s lives. She leaves behind her two daughters , her son, grandchildren she never had the chance to meet , sister, brothers and mother , along with countless cousins, aunts , uncles and many more who loved her . Her laugh was contagious and her smile lit up any room she was in. No matter what path of life she was in she always took care of anyone who crossed her path. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

As we come to terms with Peggysue’s passing, we are faced with the difficult task of arranging her final farewell, which is long overdue for everyone who has grieved her all of these years . We want to give her the heartfelt send-off she deserves but unfortunately, due to the unexpected passing the financial burden of funeral expenses is overwhelming for our family during this already challenging time .

We are reaching out to our friends and family and anyone who loved her for support in honoring her memory. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help alleviate the financial strain and allow us to focus on grieving and remembering her.

Funds raised will go towards cremation costs, memorial arrangements, and flowers. Your generosity will make a meaningful difference in ensuring that Peggysue is laid to rest with the dignity and respect she deserves.
