It is with the heaviest heart that we share the passing of our beloved Ramos LeMay Smith. On the morning of January 30th, our sweet boy gained his wings, leaving behind a world that was so much brighter because of him. At just 7 years old, Ramos was a light in our lives—full of love, and an innocence that brought joy to everyone around him. His beautiful spirit touched so many, and his absence leaves an unimaginable void in our hearts.

Ramos was a true fighter. Despite facing numerous hospital stays and enduring immense challenges, he showed incredible strength and resilience far beyond his years. Through every battle, he held onto his smile, his warmth, and his unwavering spirit. He taught us all what it means to be strong, even in the toughest moments.

Ramos had a heart full of simple joys. He absolutely loved socks. He found comfort in having his hair rubbed, a small act that always brought him peace. And one of his happiest places was the swimming pool at school, where he felt free and full of life. These little things made him who he was—a sweet, loving boy who embraced the world in his own special way.

As we navigate this heartbreaking loss, we want to give Ramos the beautiful farewell he deserves. We are asking for support to help ensure we can honor his life in the best way possible. My mother, Maureen, has dedicated over 30 years of her life to being a foster parent, providing love, care, and stability to countless children in need. Ramos was one of those precious children, and from the moment he entered her life, she embraced him with unconditional love and devotion, caring for him his entire life. Now, as she faces the heartbreaking loss of her beloved son, we want to rally around her and the family in the same way she has selflessly cared for others.
