Thank you once again for your compassion and generosity.
With love and appreciation,
Dear Friends and Family,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Ronnie Mananu, a devoted friend, brother, husband, and father. Ronnie left us on October 3rd, 2024, after a courageous two-year battle with lung cancer despite never having been a smoker. He faced countless rounds of chemotherapy, endless doctor’s visits, and painful hospitalizations. Throughout this journey, Ronnie fought valiantly, embodying faith, hope and resilience.
Ronnie was a loving husband to Esther and a devoted father to their precious six-year-old twin boys, Moshe and Michael. His family was his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Esther and the boys will forever feel his absence, but they carry his spirit and love in their hearts. Ronnie’s dedication to his family was evident in everything he did, and he worked tirelessly to create a warm and nurturing home.
As we navigate this heartbreaking time, we find ourselves grappling not only with the immense loss of a remarkable soul but also with the overwhelming financial burden that his illness has placed on his family. The medical bills, loss of income, and additional costs associated with his care have left them in a difficult situation, and they are now in urgent need of support.
Ronnie was a beacon of light in all our lives. His kindness, laughter, and unwavering support touched the hearts of many within our community, especially at Kampala Pentecostal Church (KPC), where he served as a tech volunteer and drummer. He devoted himself to Christ, his family, and friends, always prioritizing others above himself. The void he leaves behind is immeasurable.
In this spirit, we humbly ask for your support to help cover the costs of Ronnie’s funeral and memorial services. Your contributions, no matter how small, will provide the family with the peace of mind to celebrate Ronnie’s life and create a loving space for friends and family to come together, share their cherished memories, and say their final goodbyes.
We are deeply grateful for your kindness and generosity during this difficult period. Please consider sharing this message with others who knew and loved Ronnie. Together, let us honor his legacy and ensure he is remembered with the same love and compassion he shared with all of us.
