Help Us Honor Sandra Sue Burton's Memory

As most of you may know, my mother,Sandra Sue Burton, passed away very unexpectedly August 19, 2024. My mother was one of the sweetest human beings you would have ever had the pleasure of knowing and her death was not fair. She has been in stage 3 kidney failure for several years and then it just recently quickly progressed. She started dialysis three weeks ago and most recently had a routine appointment with her family doctor. Two days after her appointment she got a call that her doctor had texted positive and that she needed to get tested….She tested positive on Thursday. Saturday she went to her normal dialysis, and while she was there she went into cardiac arrest. She coded for 6 minutes, And then coded again. Her brain went without blood and oxygen long enough to cause brain damage. Us as a family had to make the decision to take her off the ventilator. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side. Her life wasn’t suppose to end this way and we would love to give her the proper services, but we need help. The funeral home that we have contacted wants all the money up front before they will do anything. We have a little money to put up but we need about $5k more to cover the full costs.
