Help us Honor Tessah Latson and Support Her Daughter Grayson
Donation protected
My brother Andrew lost his girlfriend unexpectedly several weeks ago. She is survived by her daughter Grayson, whom Andrew now has been granted temporary custody. Here are a few beautiful words he has shared about Tessah.
My love and source of peace and joy, Tessah Latson, passed away just before noon on January 21, 2025. She was a strong, intelligent, loving, and beautiful woman. A leader in the community and a strong advocate for all of those in need, she was a loving friend and someone who brought joy and laughter to any situation.
Most of all, she was a loving and amazing mother to her daughter Grayson.
Tessah spent more than 20 years working within the disability and diversity inclusion arenas, making an impact in her community through economic and workforce development initiatives and community collaboration. In her own words, “Everyone has worth, and everyone deserves dignity.”
As her partner, I am fulfilling Tessah’s, Grayson’s and her family’s wishes of continuing to care for Grayson. I’ve been granted temporary custody, which has already been extended as we prepare for a full custody hearing.
Any support you can provide will help with funeral costs, supporting legal fees to ensure that Grayson stays in a safe place, and ongoing care for Grayson. Thank you to our friends, family, and community who have already reached out and supported us in many ways. We are so grateful.
