Help us honor the caring spirit of Angel

We are writing this with deep pain in our hearts. Our beloved sister, Angel Hoban, was taken from this earth far before her time. On Wednesday, February 26th Angel’s body was discovered by her 12 year old son in their home, murdered by her live-in boyfriend.

Her time here on earth left a great impact, she was a deeply caring and selfless individual. There was not a time she was unwilling to lend a hand and she often provided for the transient community every opportunity she had. In 2023, Angel suffered a stroke which left her medically handicap. Regardless of her circumstances, she was a great daughter in law, wonderful sister, friend and aunt to her nieces and nephews. Most importantly, a devoted mother to her two sons. When driving was no longer an option due to her stroke, she would walk, catch the bus or a ride, whatever means necessary to ensure she had everything needed to provide for her children.

While navigating the impossible road ahead, we, as a family, will try to rebuild a world with sense of normalcy for her sons. This starts with providing Angel a proper memorial service that she deserves. We graciously ask in our time of need for any support, prayer or donation to help us lay our beloved sister to rest. All remaining funds collected will be used directly for her children.
