We are but fleeting moments and memories, passing like whispers in time. A life truly well-lived is one that finds its meaning in connection, generosity, and the impact it leaves on others."

It is with deep sorrow that we share the passing of our beloved Apple Jane Curambao -Smith, a woman whose life was a testament to love, kindness, and resilience. During this heartbreaking time, we are reaching out for support to help cover her funeral expenses and give her the dignified farewell she deserves.

Apple Jane was a rare and a beautiful soul - simple, reserve, brave, and deeply loving soul. While she was often not too expressive on her emotions, her actions spoke volumes. She was the glue that held our family together—a dependable daughter, bravest sibling, and the best friend you could ever have. She wore many hats in our family, taking on responsibilities as our all-around support: from managing finances, repairing broken things and relationships, our go-to problem solver, the voice of the family, and even acting as our automatic designated driver from our family errands to our visitors and friends.

Her generosity knew no bounds. Whether it was offering financial help to her nieces and nephews struggling with school or assisting relatives during hard times, Apple Jane was always the first to extend a helping hand. She lived her life as an open book when it came to helping others, always putting family and friends above herself.

Her Love-Filled Journey...

Last July, Apple Jane took a brave step toward a new future. She moved from the Philippines to Montana, USA, to start a new chapter of her life. Just two months later, in September, she stood at the altar, marrying the love of her life. Her wedding was a day filled with joy, hope, and celebration—a moment that reflected not just her happiness, but the beautiful soul she was—a light in the lives of so many.

However, life is a journey full of twist and turns...

Not long after settling into her new life in Montana, Jane began battling relentless, excruciating headaches. The pain grew unbearable, chipping away at her resilience until she could no longer endure it. A hospital visit soon revealed the she has a brain tumor. The diagnosis was a crushing blow to the family, yet, true to Jane's nature, she face it with unwavering courage and a determination that inspired everyone around her even her Doctors.

She underwent surgery and showed promising signs of recovery that allowed us to believe in a brighter tomorrow. Went back home to hopefully live a normal life after the operation. But Jane's predisposition to blood clotting cast a shadow over her progress. Complications arose, and despite the doctors’ warnings, none of us could have foreseen how quickly things would take a turn. The blood clotting caused a sudden brain herniation, ended her fight too soon, leaving our souls crushed and reeling from her untimely passing.

How You Can Help

As we grieve this unimaginable loss, we are also navigating the financial strain of her medical bills and funeral expenses. Unfortunately, due to the timing of her stay in the U.S., her insurance had not been finalized before her passing. We humbly ask for your support to help us honor Apple Jane’s memory and cover the costs of her funeral.

Your contribution, no matter the amount, will mean the world to us during this difficult time. It will allow us to focus on celebrating the beautiful person she was and the love she shared with everyone around her.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers.
