Help Us Honor the Life of Joshua Trujillo
It is with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved son, brother, dad, nephew, cousin, uncle, and friend, Joshua Trujillo, on September 29, 2024. His sudden loss has left an unfillable void in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Josh was a bright light in so many lives, and we are now coming together to honor his memory and lay him to rest.

About Josh
Josh was a proud native of Colorado, born and raised in Pagosa Springs, where he grew up on the family ranch. A dedicated athlete, he wrestled for the Pagosa Pirates before going on to college, where he earned a degree in chemistry and discovered his passion for entrepreneurship. Josh was a devoted member of LULAC and an active, cherished part of Generations Church in Greeley, CO. His kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to his community and family were felt by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Above all, Josh’s greatest priority in life was his family and friends, who meant the world to him.

Our Current Needs
Josh spent 6 days in the ICU in Mexico before being flown to Greeley, CO, where he continued to fight for another 12 days in the ICU. His medical expenses from Mexico alone have already reached $85,000, and we are still awaiting bills for his transport and the additional medical care he received in Colorado. The financial burden has been immense, and we are humbly asking for your support to help cover these overwhelming expenses.

Celebrating Josh's Life
A memorial service will be held in Greeley, CO, for Josh’s friends and loved ones, at a date and time to be determined. He will then be returned to his hometown of Pagosa Springs, CO, where funeral services will be held, and he will be laid to rest alongside family. The date and time for the Pagosa Springs service will also be shared once confirmed.

How You Can Help
During this time of unimaginable grief, we are asking for your help to cover Josh’s medical bills, transport costs, and final arrangements. Any amount you can contribute will help ease the financial strain on our family as we navigate this difficult time. Your support will enable us to give Josh the farewell he so greatly deserves. We are eternally grateful for your kindness, prayers, and generosity.
