Help Us Honor the Memory of Wro Felekech G. Rufe

It is with heavy hearts that we share the tragic loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, W/ro Felekech G. Rufe, who passed away on November 19, 2024.

W/ro Felekech, 69 years old, was a pillar of love and kindness in our community. Born on September 12, 1955, she had a heart as warm as the meals she lovingly prepared for all those around her. She was not just a mother to her own children but a mother to everyone, sharing her compassion and generosity with all who knew her.

Tragically, W/ro Felekech was struck by a car while crossing the street on the evening of November 18th. Despite receiving immediate medical attention at Aurora Medical Center, she passed away in the early hours of November 19th, leaving all of us in shock and grief.

Our community is coming together to honor her life and her final wish: to be laid to rest in her beloved homeland, Ethiopia. Transporting her body overseas, along with the associated funeral costs, will require significant financial support.

We are humbly asking for your help to make this possible. Your donation, no matter the size, will help us give W/ro Felekech the honor and dignity she deserves in her final journey. Every dollar raised will go towards:

- Transportation of her remains to Ethiopia

- Funeral and burial costs in Ethiopia

- Supporting her grieving family

እጅግ የምንወዳቸውና የምናከብራቸው እናታችንን፣ አያታችን፣ እህታችን እና ጓደኛችን ወ/ሮ ፈለቀች ሩፌ እ.ኤ.አ. ህዳር 19 ቀን 2024 ዓም አስደንጋጭ በሆነ መንገድ ከዚህች ዓለም በሞት በመለየታቸው የሚሰማን ኅዘን እና እሮሮ ከፍ ያለ ነው።

የ 69 ዓመት አንጋፋ የነበሩት ወ/ሮ ፈለቀች በመስከረም 1 ቀን 1948 ዓም ተወለዱ። ባለንበት ዴንቨር አካባቢ ከመጡበት ጊዜ ጀምሮ የማህበረሰቡ ታላቅ የፍቅር እና የደግነት ምሶሶ ነበሩ። ልበ ሰፊዋ ወ/ሮ ፈለቀች ለወለዷቸው ሁለት ልጆቻቸው ብቻ ሳይሆን ለብዙዎቻችን እንደ እናት ሆነው የኖሩ፣ ለርህራሄአቸው እና ልግስናቸው ገደብ ያለበረው ደግ ሰው ነበሩ።

ወ/ሮ ፈለቀች በህዳር (November) 18 ቀን ማምሻው ላይ በእግራቸው መንገድ ሲያቋርጡ በድንገት በመኪና ተገጩ። ከዚያም በAurora Medical Center ሆስፒታል አፋጣኝ የህክምና እርዳታ ቢያገኙም በደረሰባቸው ጉዳት ምክንያት በነጋታው ማለዳ በ November 19 ከዚህ ዓለም በሞት ተለዩ። ይህ ዱብእዳ ሁላችንንም እጅግ አስደንግጦ ወደ ጥልቅ ሀዘን አዘቅት ጥሎናል።

የወ/ሮ ፈለቀች የመጨረሻ ምኞት እትብታቸው በተቀበረበት በሚወዷት አገራቸው በኢትዮጵያ ለመቀበር ስለነበረ ይህንን ምኞታቸውን እውን ለማድረግ የተቻለውን ሁሉ ለማድረግ ርብርቦሽ ጀምረናል። እንግዲህ አስክሬናቸውን ወደ አገር ቤት ለማጓጓዝና ለመቅበር እንዲያስችለን የቻሉትን ያህል ትልቅም ሆነ ትንሽ እርዳታዎን እንዲለግሱ በትህትና እንጠይቃለን።

ወ/ሮ ፈለቀች በሕይወት በነበሩበት ጊዜ ለገጠማቸው ሁሉ ላሳዩት ደግነት እና ለከፈሉት ሁሉ መስዋዕትነት የሚገባቸውን የክብር ሽኝት ለመስጠት እና ያለንን ፍቅርና አድናቆት ለመግለጽ እድሉን በአንድነት እንድንጠቀምበት ከአደራ ጋር አጥብቀን እናሳስባለን። ላልሰሙም በማጋራት እንዲተባብሩን በትህትና እንጠይቃለን።

በዚሁ አጋጣሚ ይህንን ታላቅ ሃዘናችንን ተካፋይ በመሆን አብራችሁን ለከረማችሁት ሁሉ በቅርብም በሩቅም ሆናችሁ ላጽናናችሁን እና በጸሎታችሁ ላልተለያችሁን ሁሉ ከልብ የመነጨ ምስጋናችንን እናቀርባለን። እግዚአብሔር አምላክ ይስጥልን፤ የወ/ሮ ፈለቀችንም ነፍስ በእረፍት ቦታ ያኑርልን።
