Help Us With Edward Sherrick's Tragic Loss

Donation protected

On The morning of July 26, 2024, my Dad, Edward D. Sherrick was tragically killed in a house fire in Modesto, CA.

It has been hard for our entire family to realize that this is even real. My Dad left behind many family members including his father, Edward, his siblings, Cindy, Cathy, and Cal, and countless other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and myself wondering how this happened.

In any scenario, my Dad’s death does not make sense. We, as a family, would love nothing more than to get definitive answers.

My Dad had a magnetic personality and would make friends wherever he went. I think his warm, friendly disposition made him easy to talk with. I remember so many times he would make friends by simply striking up a conversation while waiting in line or just by meeting people he would encounter as a truck driver and mechanic for over 30 years. He was a kind and generous person and was always encouraging everyone around him to have courage. He also had a strong passion for animals, nature and history.

It doesn’t seem fair that he had to leave us this soon, and funds gained through this platform will be used to put him to rest.

We will NOT stop asking questions about how such a wonderful life was ended in such a terrible way.
