Help us keep a roof over our family’s head

My name is Ciara Marrero, I’m a young 21 year old mother to a 22 month old babygirl . I have been living with my MIL since 2019 and have always been a respectful roommate and followed her rules for the house. Last night Through a cell phone call she kicked out the 3 of us , said we have until Sunday. We have no family support here in NYC. My family is unsafe in many different ways. I have applied for housing help while pregnant in 2019, and I’m on the waiting list. We are in the process of securing disability , my childs father has Chronic Chrons Disease , and that’s also played a part in lack of finances. We have a glimmer of hope in Kansas, where we have a place to stay potentially or family shelters, a job lined up for my childs father, and childcare for my daughter so we can get on our feet and begin working. We just don’t have the funds to get there, as well as put towards a down payment for a cheap apartment. We are putting together as much money as we can on our own, but we desperately need help. ANY help would be appreciated , including simply sharing the post.
